On Thursday, February 25, 2021, Comcast, 2x U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist swimmer Simone Manuel, Mayor Schaaf, and City of Oakland Parks, Recreation & Youth Development will announce an important new initiative that will help create greater digital equity and provide valuable resources at a critical time for thousands of families who have been severely impacted by COVID-19 in Oakland.
