Earlier today, FLUX finally announced the beginning of its new Next Batch of X-Sense, Professional Contemporary Dance Course in Bangalore on Saturday, 19th of November 2022. The course has been in development since the year 2014. The main aim with this new batch is to provide more than anyone would expect. This has been done by packing it up with contemporary dance technique, floor work, release technique, capoeira, physical theater and core fortification … but it does so, with a difference.
Sahiba Singh, the Founder of FLUX, says: “We wanted to try something new with this new batch of X-Sense as Professional Contemporary Dance Course in Bangalore. Anyone familiar with the dance scenario in Bangalore would probably have noticed how everyone else seems to teach and train the students to learn a choreography as a mechanical rote of steps. On the other hand, we provide our trainees with an insight to create their own choreography on the spur of the moment in the most spontaneous manner. Traditional mechanical rote of steps in vogue is a problem because it does not make one a real artist, it rather turns the creative art of dance into a mere repetitive craft.”
So as a welcome breath of fresh air, FLUX will instead turn its contemporary dance students into the most creative artists who will never have any stage-fright all through their life. FLUX chose to make this move because Sahiba, the Founder loved to see her trainees as intelligent artists around her as well as unmatched creative talents in the world of dance. All this is expected to lead them to the creative intelligence of art in general and dance in particular.

She caused a stir when one day, she said to herself that enough was enough. She jumped on to the next level of artistry in her movement. She was searching for the most responsible role of art to play in the development of society, with a mission of changing it for good.
