Halifax Certified Medical Aesthetician Course, Learn-From-Home For Moms Update

The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy has made several updates to its course structure to make its medical aesthetician training programs more accessible to single parents, or students working their way through school, by allowing most of their learning to be completed online.

Laval, Canada - June 4, 2023

These new courses by the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy allow students to complete the majority of their aesthetician certification online, with a one to two-week, hands-on, practical training program at the end of each course.

More information about the new Learn From Home option, the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy, and the complete list of courses can be found at https://dermysk.com/pages/academy

Graduates of the updated courses will be fully certified and experienced in up to a dozen popular medical aesthetic procedures, which vary from program to program, and ready to begin a new career. They will also be enrolled in the Dermysk Academy’s after-graduate support program, which helps students to continue improving their skills, and provides assistance with career opportunities.

New students without previous experience in the medical aesthetics industry have two available courses to choose from, a Basic program, and a Master’s level course. While any student may enroll in the Basic course with only a high school diploma as a prerequisite, the Dermysk Academy reserves the right to limit access to its Master level course, to certain highly dedicated students.

To enroll in the Master’s level course, which includes all the training from both the Basic and Advanced programs, students will be asked to make an appointment with the Dermysk education team, to discuss their options. Graduates of this program will receive a Master of Medical Aesthetics certification, as well as specialized training that is not available through any other Dermysk courses.

In the Basic course, which includes 7 online modules, students will learn about the medical aesthetics industry, regulatory considerations, and the underlying science behind many popular treatments, such as laser hair or tattoo removal. After completing the online modules, they will attend a one-week, practical training program at the Academy, where they will get hands-on experience with medical aesthetic tools and clients.

After graduating, students will be fully certified to perform all the procedures covered in their course, a full list of which can be found on the Dermysk Academy website. Students of the Basic course will also be qualified to enroll in the Advanced course, to learn new techniques which include Body Sculpting, and stem cell treatments.

One recent graduate said, “The Dermysk Academy is one of the best places to get certified. Good balance between theory and hands-on assignments.”
