Oshkosh Truck Corporation Names Gregory L. Fredericksen Senior Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer

Oshkosh Truck Corporation (NYSE:OSK), a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of specialty vehicles and vehicle bodies, announced today that Gregory (Greg) L. Fredericksen has joined the company as senior vice president and chief procurement officer. Fredericksen will be responsible for:

  • Procurement of all direct and indirect materials and capital equipment throughout the company
  • Acquisition of all logistics services company-wide
  • Developing and managing strategic supplier relationships
  • Supplier development and supplier quality programs
  • Implementing lean principles throughout the supply chain, and
  • Procurement support for new product development and acquisitions.

Fredericksen joins Oshkosh Truck Corporation after 22 years with General Motors Corporation, most recently responsible for GMs sourcing of stampings and raw materials globally. He was integral to the development of GMs supply chain strategy over the last twenty years. He has broad experience sourcing multiple commodities and components globally, working abroad, managing large global teams, as well as serving Saturn Corporation in materials management and supplier quality roles.

Fredericksen holds a bachelors degree in business administration from Central Michigan University.
