Intevac Receives 200 Lean(R) Gen II Order

Intevac, Inc. (Nasdaq:IVAC) announced today it has received an order for one 200 Lean® Gen II sputtering system, scheduled for shipment in the first quarter of 2009.

We are pleased to announce this Gen II purchase order, which we received from a new customer for their research and development use, commented Kevin Fairbairn, president and chief executive officer of Intevac.

The 200 Lean Gen II is Intevacs next-generation sputtering system, offering improved performance and reliability as well as 25% higher throughput compared to the original 200 Lean.
