Fauquier Bankshares, Inc. (the "Company") announced today the resignation of John J. "Jay" Norman, Jr. from the Boards of Directors of the Company and its community bank subsidiary, The Fauquier Bank (the "Bank"), effective June 17, 2010. Mr. Norman has been a director of the Company and the Bank since 1998. Mr. Norman’s resignation did not relate to any disagreement on matters regarding the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
