United Helps Volunteers Fly Home in Response to COVID-19

DESCRIPTION:

A charitable organization we’ve worked extensively with in the past, All Hands and Hearts, has shut down their global operations due to COVID-19 and are scrambling to return volunteers home to the U.S. We’re currently working to arrange emergency travel for nearly 70 individuals positioned around the world in various global disaster relief efforts the org is assisting with -- locations like Australia, the Philippines, the Bahamas, Mozambique, etc.

About All Hands and Hearts
All Hands and Hearts effectively and efficiently addresses the immediate and long-term needs of communities impacted by natural disasters. We communicate directly with local leaders and community members and then deploy our unique model of engaging volunteers to enable direct impact, helping to build safer, more resilient schools, homes and infrastructure.

Through community and volunteer engagement, we focus on helping families recover faster after natural disasters using our Smart Response strategy. In doing so, we strengthen both our volunteers and the communities in which we serve.
