On June 28, 2025, SF Express officially broke ground on its Central China Multimodal International Logistics Hub, which project located in the northern zone of the Zhengzhou Airport Economic Experimental Area. This national-level infrastructure project aims to integrate functions like smart logistics, multimodal transport, and low-altitude delivery into one hub. Ecosteel Source is proud to be selected as a material partner, who supplying profiled wall cladding sheets and C-section structural steel components to the construction with full-cycle delivery support.
Project Overview: A Smart, Multimodal Logistics Center With a total investment of over RMB 1.5 billion, this construction area is approximately reach to 225,000 m²and would developed in two phases. In the first phase, the hub will feature advanced facilities such as circular sorters, ISC automated systems, AGV robots, and AI-driven scheduling. It is expected to generate over RMB 6 billion in annual revenue and create more than 3,000 jobs for local area. Once this project completed, it would be positioned Zhengzhou as a core node in China’s inland logistics system.
Material Support: Engineered Steel for Long-Term Performance Ecosteel Source is supplying high-strength profiled wall panels and precision-rolled C-section steel members, which produced with Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium (ZAM) and Galvalume (GL) coatings, to this project of one phrase. These materials offer superior corrosion resistance and mechanical durability, and which are ideal for the demands of large-scale warehouse and logistics facilities.
