Labrador Names Nneoma Njoku as General Manager to Lead U.S. Compliance Communication Firm

Seasoned professional tapped to drive global agency’s rapid growth

Labrador (U.S.), a global communications firm specializing in corporate disclosure documents, today announced the addition of Nneoma Njoku as general manager.

Njoku has more than twenty years of experience serving finance and technology companies and brings a wealth of knowledge and best practices to Labrador. As general manager, Njoku will be responsible for developing strategy and directing sales and operations in the U.S.

“Labrador has experienced significant growth in the U.S. as we’ve seen a massive shift in the expectations of corporate stakeholders. Not only do they require a higher degree of transparency, but the information needs to be clear, concise and easy to read,” said Labrador’s director general, Thibault Dewavrin. “This year especially, with the heightened focus on climate and DEI, we see greater client demand for services around ESG reporting. To support Labrador’s growth, we sought a leader who could help U.S. companies respond to these trends. Nneoma, with her deep experience in marketing and communications, is a perfect fit.”

For more than 30 years, Labrador’s experts have helped hundreds of companies worldwide generate corporate disclosure documents in a compliant yet transparent and engaging way to engender trust with their key stakeholders. The company believes that while regulated disclosure allows for accountability and comparability, it only has value if read and understood. It answers the question: can compliance and communication team together to deliver true value to an audience?

“Throughout my communications career, I have witnessed the need for companies to share their stories with a clear purpose,” said Njoku. “Because of this, I’m passionate about transparency and relationship building when communicating with important audiences to inspire their confidence, encourage interactions and reinforce investment decisions. I am excited to work with the Labrador team as we grow our business and help our clients navigate the rapidly-changing disclosure requirements.”

Prior to joining Labrador, Njoku served as vice president at Citizens M&A Advisory, where she oversaw marketing and communications and as vice president, corporate/B2B practice lead, at MSL Group, where she managed accounts, e.g., Samsung Electronics, UPS, and more. Additional work experience includes AT&T, iStar Financial, Harvest Partners, and Cantor Fitzgerald. Njoku earned a Master of Business Administration and Management from Georgia State University and a bachelor’s degree in communications and media studies from The City College of New York.
