The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Point32Health, the parent company for Tufts Health Plan and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care’s data breach. On April 17, 2023, Point32Health stated it identified a ransomware incident affecting the systems it uses to service members, accounts, brokers, and providers. According to Point32Health, it is currently investigating this incident to determine if the files compromised in the data breach included highly sensitive information such as: names, addresses, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, medical information and health insurance information.
