The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Legacy Capital Advisors LLC (“Legacy”) with respect to their recent data breach. In late July 2023, Legacy’s network experienced an unauthorized cybersecurity incident. Legacy discovered the incident on September 25, 2023, and immediately launched an investigation. After reviewing the impacted data gathered during the investigation, Legacy determined that certain individuals’ sensitive and personal information was accessed. Legacy began issuing notices around August 26, 2024.
