CME Symposium - The Evolving Landscape of Oral Antiplatelet Therapy for Acute Coronary Syndromes

PR Log - Feb 12, 2013 - This program will address profiles of established and new antiplatelet drugs; efficacy and safety data from ACS trials involving aspirin, clopidogrel, prasugrel, and ticagrelor; and use of therapies in post- hospital discharge management. Duration of therapy will be discussed to optimize the balance of ischemic vs bleeding risk, and patient compliance. In addition, case presentation and faculty panel discussion will identify current guideline-directed medical therapies and cardiometabolic risk factor goals to achieve, highlighting best strategies and practices in secondary prevention.
