Join Visit Mount Dora™ as the downtown Mount Dora streets come alive with antiques and collectibles dealers, crafters and artists displaying their treasures for show and sale. With over 250 exhibitors setting up this year, the Mount Dora Spring Show (formerly the Mount Dora Antiques Fair) will be larger than ever before. The event has grown to include two additional streets full of exhibitors in 2013.
Janet Gamache Craig, the Mount Dora Spring show event coordinator says "The Mount Dora Spring Show has evolved from the old antique show it was years ago into a fun eclectic festival with something for everyone. It features some pretty fabulous fine artists and crafters that are part of our juried Fall Craft Fair as well as the old fun treasures many visitors look forward to hunting through."
Another new feature is an additional smaller food court featuring BBQ and the introduction of beer and wine. "Visitors will be allowed to purchase beer and wine and walk around the event area without having to stay in a confined area within the event . We want folks to come out, relax, enjoy the festival and linger," says Gamache Craig.
The Mount Dora Spring Show is a fun two-day, open-air event, with historic downtown Mount Dora as a backdrop, hosting thousands of visitors.
