Physicians Realty Trust Announces Closing of Upsized Public Offering of Common Shares

Physicians Realty Trust (NYSE:DOC) (“the Company”), a self-managed healthcare real estate company, announced today the closing of its upsized underwritten public offering of 15,812,500 common shares of beneficial interest, including 2,062,500 common shares issued pursuant to the exercise of an option to purchase additional common shares granted to the underwriters, at a price per share of $15.00.

The Company will contribute the net proceeds of this offering to its operating partnership in exchange for common units in its operating partnership. The Company’s operating partnership intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to repay a portion of its borrowings under the Company’s unsecured revolving credit facility and for general corporate purposes, including working capital and investment in real estate.

BofA Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan, BMO Capital Markets, KeyBanc Capital Markets, Morgan Stanley and Raymond James acted as joint book-running managers for the offering.
