Is Fossil Too Optimistic?

Fossil Group ( FOSL ) climbed almost 7% over the past two days after the watch maker posted better-than-feared fiscal second quarter financial results and announced plans to fast track new products to compete in the growing smartwatch market. But Cowen analyst Oliver Chen and his team worry that the company’s full-year guidance for the 2017 fiscal year may prove too optimistic.
