Tale of two cities: Concord embraces sidewalk robots while S.F. considers banning them

While sidewalk robots are being embraced in some cities around the Bay Area, one supervisor in San Francisco wants to ban the machines, citing concerns about safety and enforcement. That's left robot makers and some business groups asking for regulation and warning that an outright ban might force autonomous robot development out of the city.
