Developer acquires land where uptown hotel is planned

An entity affiliated with BPR Properties acquired three tracts of land totaling about 0.4 acre for $2.5 million at the corner of South Brevard and East Fourth streets, directly across from the Charlotte Transportation Center. A 19-story Moxy hotel is pegged for the site.
