Uber drops out as Minneapolis shared-scooter program suffers slow start to season

Lengthy contract negotiations mean fewer than half of the 2,000 shared electric scooters permitted for Minneapolis streets in 2019 have rolled out so far, and one of four operators selected to join the program has dropped out.
