S.F. moves forward with controversial jobs-housing linkage fee

The proposed legislation would would raise the fee for new office development from $28.57 to $57.14 per square foot for projects that were approved before Sept. 10, to $63.37 fee for projects submitted before Jan. 1, 2022, and $69.60 for projects submitted after that.
