Kimball International, Inc. (NASDAQ: KBALB) has announced the appointment of Jeff Fenwick to the position of Vice President/General Manager for the Company’s Kimball Office business. Fenwick previously served as Vice President of Marketing for Kimball Office. As Vice President/General Manager, Fenwick will assume responsibility for the entire Kimball Office organization and the achievement of Kimball Office business goals, including support and oversight of the brand’s strategic direction and growth objectives, manufacturing operations and the respective support functions required of an effective organization.

Fenwick already has a solid understanding of the office furniture industry. He originally joined Kimball in August of 2001 as Vice President of Marketing for flexcel, the Company’s furniture contract manufacturing operations, and assumed responsibility for new business development and the achievement of flexcel sales goals. He left the Company in June 2006 and joined ASSA ABLOY, the world’s leading manufacturer and supplier of door opening solutions and security as the Vice President responsible for five commercial door brands and 12 service centers. He rejoined Kimball Office in May 2007 as the Vice President of Marketing responsible for the strategic direction of the Kimball Office Brand.
Fenwick, 47, spent 17 years with Ingersoll-Rand, advancing through sales management and holding both the National and International Sales Manager positions, before becoming Marketing Manager and then General Manager, Strategic Business for one of the company’s divisions. He and his wife Mary and their two children reside in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Fenwick received his undergraduate degree in History and English from Illinois State University. He obtained a Masters of Science degree in Management from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, graduating with high honors.
