At a meeting held today, the Board of Trustees of Eaton Vance Senior Income Trust (the “Trust”), (NYSE: EVF), a closed-end investment company, voted to elect Benjamin C. Esty and Thomas E. Faust Jr. as Class I Trustees of the Trust and Ronald A. Pearlman as Class I APS Trustee of the Trust elected solely by holders of Auction Preferred Shares, each for a three-year term. The Trust’s Class II and III Trustees, who also serve staggered three-year terms, were not up for election and remain in office.
The Trust is managed by Eaton Vance Management, a subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp., which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol EV. Eaton Vance and its affiliates had $144.0 billion in assets under management as of September 30, 2008.
