LOS ANGELES, CA, January 12, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Artist Jack Armstrong will unveil the World's Most Expensive Car in Monte Carlo - his $200 Million Bugatti 'X' hypercar.

Scheduled for January 2025, it will celebrate Armstrong's 50th Anniversary as an artist. As the founder of Cosmic 'X' art, he worked with both Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol at the start of his iconic career.

The current world record, a 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe was one of only two ever made. It was sold from the Mercedes-Benz corporate museum in Stuttgart, Germany in May 2022 to a private collector for 141 million EUR (138 million GBP or 142 million USD). The record sale proceeds were used to establish the Mercedes-Benz Fund.
