SJ Innovation LLC announces with great enthusiasm its strategic collaboration with IVolunteer International Inc. This partnership focuses on the redevelopment and enhancement of the IVolunteerNow app, a pivotal platform designed to streamline the connection between volunteers and community initiatives.
Originally, IVolunteerNow, a key initiative of IVolunteer International, was in its customer discovery and beta testing phase when the COVID-19 pandemic struck, presenting unprecedented global challenges. The pandemic underscored the necessity of a robust, accessible platform for mobilizing volunteers, especially during times of reduced physical gatherings, which severely impacted communities and nonprofits. This realization propelled IVolunteer International to seek an overhaul of its IVolunteerNow platform.
“I wish we had designed and launched the app before the pandemic,” remarked ‘Nipuna Ambanpola’, Executive Director of ‘IVolunteer International’. “Of course, no one could plan for a pandemic like that. But better late than never, so I’m excited to finally publish it to the world so that when someone wants to take action, they don’t have to feel helpless ever again.”

Following a competitive Request for Proposal process initiated by IVolunteer International in September 2023, SJ Innovation, headquartered in New York City, was selected for the project. The partnership entails close collaboration between SJ Innovation and IVolunteer International to develop a revamped, user-friendly platform.

The project is expected to kick off towards the end of November 2023, with a projected completion by mid-2024.
