The Travelers Institute, the public policy division of The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV), will celebrate the 100th episode of its Wednesdays with Woodward webinar series Oct. 25 with special guest Alan Schnitzer, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Travelers.
Schnitzer will sit down with series creator and host Joan Woodward, President of the Travelers Institute and Executive Vice President of Public Policy at Travelers, for a candid, one-on-one discussion about what leadership looks like in times of uncertainty and rapid change.
“Our Wednesdays with Woodward series started as a way to keep us all connected during the pandemic, and it has since grown into one of the most impactful programs in the Travelers Institute’s history,” said Woodward. “It was Alan’s vision 15 years ago that created the Travelers Institute, and we are honored to have him mark our 100th episode. The first Wednesdays with Woodward episode aired June 11, 2020, as leaders within the insurance industry were looking for opportunities to learn and problem solve together during the first year of the pandemic. Since the launch of the series, the Travelers Institute has hosted more than 170 guests, from top government officials to C-suite business leaders, and explored topics such as cybersecurity, geopolitical risks, distracted driving and more. Guests have registered for programs or watched the replays nearly 350,000 times.
