Tricentis Unveils Enhanced Tosca for New Era in Cloud-Based Test Automation

New cloud features in Tosca deliver flexibility, scalability and ease for modern enterprise testing

Tricentis, a global leader in continuous testing and quality engineering, today launched enhanced cloud capabilities for its flagship solution, Tricentis Tosca, bringing enterprise-ready end-to-end test automation to the cloud.

The latest in Tosca’s cloud evolution, this release offers the value of Tosca in the cloud while enabling organizations to reduce the overhead associated with internal infrastructure and the management of on-premises components.

By bringing Tosca’s industry-leading key test automation capabilities to the cloud, Tricentis aims to enable enterprise organizations with comprehensive quality and risk coverage to critical business processes that span multiple applications across complex environments.

Tosca will now be delivered in a streamlined model which provides organizations with the flexibility to deploy in the cloud, on-prem, or through a hybrid approach, all within a single subscription. And as an additional benefit of Tosca’s cloud deployment model, Tosca users gain immediate availability of new enhancements without the need to upgrade on-prem components.

New cloud-based features for Tosca include:

  • Cloud Commander interface: An enhanced, fully cloud-enabled interface allows users to quickly and easily author, edit, and manage test cases entirely in the cloud, drastically reducing reliance on on-premises infrastructure and enabling low-footprint test automation.
  • API simulation for early-stage testing: This optional add-on allows users to simulate critical components early in the development cycle to reduce dependencies, accelerate workflows, and significantly cut testing costs.
  • Bulk transition of tests to the cloud: Seamlessly transition multiple test cases and entire execution lists to the cloud, allowing users to rapidly create and leverage robust test libraries in the cloud.
  • Cloud Agents for zero-footprint execution (coming soon): Proving the ability to run tests entirely on Tricentis infrastructure leveraging highly scalable and efficient Elastic Execution Grid and eliminating the need to run tests on internal infrastructure.

“By bringing the power of Tosca to the cloud, we’re reinforcing Tricentis’ dedication to delivering innovative, cloud-based solutions designed to meet the needs of modern, fast-paced software teams,” said Mav Turner, Tricentis Chief Product and Strategy Officer. “This release redefines how teams approach test automation, making it simpler and faster to adapt to changing business needs. These advancements enable enterprises to meet quality demands at speed, giving teams the tools to stay competitive and ensure their critical applications and business processes meet the highest standards of quality.”
