Upcoming ISG Provider Lens® report will evaluate providers of digital workplace services and AI-enabled platforms advancing hybrid workplace strategy, operations and experience
Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm, has launched a research study examining how providers are helping enterprises move from isolated workplace tools and point solutions to orchestrated models that support experience-led hybrid work environments.
The study results will be published in a series of comprehensive ISG Provider Lens® reports, called Future of Work — Services and Future of Work — Solutions, both scheduled to be released in July 2026. The Services report will cover providers offering workplace strategy and enablement, digital workplace operations and support, AI-augmented collaboration and experience and smart and sustainable workplace services. The Solutions report will cover companies delivering digital employee experience (DEX) platforms and AI-enabled end-user computing solutions.
Enterprise buyers will be able to use information from the reports to evaluate their current vendor relationships, potential new engagements and available offerings, while ISG advisors use the information to recommend providers to the firm’s buy-side clients.
The digital workplace continues to evolve as remote work becomes more widespread, hybrid models mature and organizations formalize their return-to-office strategies. With AI increasingly embedded across collaboration, endpoint and operational environments, enterprises are prioritizing adoption, effectiveness and employee experience over technology deployment alone. They are turning to integrated workplace services and a broad ecosystem of platforms and tools that use automation and telemetry-based insights to deliver consistent, secure and sustainable work experiences.
“Enterprises are under growing pressure to enhance productivity and manage increasingly complex hybrid work environments,” said Iain Fisher, director at ISG. “With AI delivering value in both routine and complex use cases, companies seek providers that combine strategic advisory services with intelligent platforms for sustained digital workplace modernization.”
ISG has distributed surveys to approximately 220 digital workplace service providers. Working in collaboration with ISG’s global advisors, the research team will produce four quadrants representing the future workplace services the typical enterprise is buying, based on ISG’s experience working with its clients. The four quadrants are:
- Workplace Strategy and Enablement Services, evaluating providers that help organizations define and realize workplace visions by integrating the human, digital and physical dimensions of workplaces. They are assessed on their ability to deliver workplace-driven sustainability strategies.
- Digital Workplace Operations and Support Services, assessing providers that undertake complete responsibility for building, transitioning and operating the digital workplace. Providers should demonstrate expertise in delivering service desk services, including omnichannel, remote and contextualized end-user support.
- AI-augmented Collaboration and Experience Services, covering providers that design, deploy and continuously optimize collaboration and communication services in digital workplaces. Providers help clients improve collaboration by integrating AI-driven capabilities, including copilots and contextual assistants.
- Smart and Sustainable Workplace Services, evaluating providers that design, implement and manage physical workplaces that support hybrid collaboration and improved operational efficiency. They offer services to optimize the physical workplace, addressing space utilization, energy efficiency, environmental impact and employee well-being.
In addition, ISG has distributed surveys to approximately 80 digital workplace solution providers globally. This report will include two quadrants:
- Digital Employee Experience (DEX) Solutions, covering providers that offer DEX solutions, including end-user experience management (EUEM) and digital end-user experience (DEUX). Providers are assessed on their ability to continuously monitor endpoints, deliver telemetry-based insights and provide automated issue remediation.
- AI-enabled End-user Computing Solutions, evaluating providers offering solutions that integrate AI with modern end-user computing (EUC) technologies. They also assist IT teams in managing and securing workplace environments through AI-driven insights, predictive analytics and automation.
Geographically focused reports from the Future of Work — Services study will cover the global workplace services market and examine products and services available in the U.S., the U.K., Australia, Brazil, Germany, Switzerland and the U.S. public sector. ISG analysts Bruce Guptill (Global, U.S., Australia and U.S. public sector), Roman Pelzel (Germany and Switzerland), Kevin Turner (U.K.) and Cristiane Tarricone (Brazil) will serve as authors of the reports. Bruce Guptill will also author the Future of Work — Solutions report.
A list of identified providers and vendors and further details on each study are available in these digital brochures: Future of Work — Services and Future of Work — Solutions. Companies not listed as future of work service or solution providers can contact ISG and ask to be included in the study.
