Licensed Clinical Psychologist Ryan Stubblefield has showcased his approach to depth therapy for individuals and couples, sharing an open invitation to anyone interested to reach out via email and book a free 20-minute consultation.
Ryan has eight years of experience and takes great pride in offering a space where patients can "be real” through in-person sessions in Berkley, CA, or virtual sessions anywhere in California.
"You've tried to hold things together - at home, in your relationships, at work—but it’s not clicking," Ryan commented. "You're exhausted from masking, people-pleasing, or pushing through.
"Saying what you really feel is hard, maybe even to yourself. You feel stuck in a life that doesn't quite fit."
Dr. Stubblefield hosts a general practice open to adults, focused on neurodiversity, relationships, mid-life transitions, addiction, recovery, and more.
Ryan explained that his approach is a mix of different approaches, including relational psychoanalysis, Jungian depth psychology, attachment theory, decolonial psychology, meditative practices, and more.
The goal of the therapy, Ryan added, is to help patients “see clearly, speak honestly, and finally feel like yourself.” The therapist added that his clients have started shifting patterns that once felt out of their control because “boundaries get easier, decisions feel more aligned.”
He added, “You’re no longer just surviving. You're thriving and creating a life that works for you.”
Ryan holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). He serves on the executive board of the Northern California Society of Psychoanalytic Psychology (NCSPP), is a Clinical Supervisor at Psychological Services Center in San Francisco, and teaches in the Doctorate of Clinical Psychology and Masters of Counseling Psychology programs at CIIS.
The therapist’s past work in fields of engineering and technology gave him a unique outlook and a way of connecting with individuals employed in similar environments.
