-- VEXBE, a U.K.-based Real World Asset (RWA) trading platform, announced on the 26th that it has completed the integration of Blue Ocean ATS, a U.S. alternative trading system (ATS).
Through this integration, VEXBE has secured trading infrastructure that enables access to the U.S. stock market outside regular trading hours, allowing global users to benefit from extended trading hours and broader access to a variety of financial assets.
Blue Ocean ATS is a global financial market infrastructure that supports overnight trading of U.S. stocks, ETFs, and other National Market System (NMS) securities. Through its Blue Ocean Session, which operates from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. the following day, Sunday through Thursday, U.S. Eastern Time, the platform enables global investors to access U.S. assets according to their respective time zones, extending beyond traditional New York trading hours.
Blue Ocean ATS also supports electronic order connectivity for U.S. NMS securities based on FIX 5.0, while utilizing clearing, settlement, and transaction reporting infrastructure connected to U.S. financial market institutions such as NSCC and DTCC. This enables overnight trading within an environment connected to the existing infrastructure of the U.S. equities market.
Building on its connectivity with this global financial infrastructure, VEXBE plans to connect the U.S. stock market with tokenized RWA assets within a single platform ecosystem. The company also aims to establish a global 24/7 asset trading environment by linking regular market hours with overnight trading sessions.
