REDiTECH, a managed IT services company based in Omaha, Nebraska, has announced it's opening a location in Des Moines, Iowa, in addition to its brand-new location in Tampa, Florida.
Des Moines has long been recognized as a technology hub. In 2010, the City of West Des Moines' Economic Development Plan heralded technology as one of the area's top five growing industries. The growth is due to its technology-educated workforce and access to a growing customer base.
Meanwhile, Tampa's technological boom is attributed to the area's "brain gain," determined by the number of technology graduates compared to tech-talent job creation, according to CBRE Group, a commercial real estate brokerage firm. CBRE Group recently ranked Tampa in the top 25 cities in the U.S. with the largest tech-talent markets.
"Both Des Moines and Tampa are considered robust technology corridors, so it makes a lot of sense for us to position ourselves where our services are most needed," said Christopher Polito, REDiTECH's owner and CEO.
