LONDON - May 14, 2026 - PRLog -- KLEKT is pleased to announce the appointment of Jay Kimpton to its Board of Directors, bringing nearly two decades of executive leadership experience across luxury retail, global brand-building, and large-scale organisational transformation.

Jay joins the board following an accomplished international career spanning Europe and Asia-Pacific, most notably with Ralph Lauren, where he spent 18 years in senior leadership positions across Hong Kong and Japan. Most recently serving as President & CEO for Japan, Korea & Australia, Jay led a highly profitable $1.2 billion business across multiple markets, overseeing more than 1,600 points of sale and a workforce of 5,000 employees.

Throughout his tenure, Jay delivered sustained commercial growth while elevating brand positioning across some of the world's most sophisticated luxury and retail environments. His leadership combined strategic vision with deep operational expertise, spanning digital innovation, supply chain transformation, consumer insight, and organisational design.
Having spent the last 11 years based in Tokyo, Jay developed extensive experience in cross-cultural leadership and international market expansion, building a reputation for driving performance and innovation within complex global businesses.

Prior to Ralph Lauren, Jay held senior positions at Samsonite, where he led global retail operations in preparation for the company's IPO, as well as advisory roles through Kinesis Consulting, working with brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Hackett London, and Dunhill. Earlier in his career, he spent six years at Gap Inc. across London, Düsseldorf, and San Francisco in finance and IT leadership roles.

Jay's appointment marks an important step in KLEKT's continued growth and international expansion strategy, as the company strengthens its position at the intersection of fashion, culture, and next-generation commerce.

Jay Kimpton said:
"I'm excited to join the KLEKT board at such a pivotal stage in the company's journey. The platform has built a strong reputation within the global sneaker and fashion community, and I look forward to supporting the team as they continue to scale internationally and evolve the brand experience for consumers worldwide."

KLEKT believes Jay's global perspective, operational expertise, and deep understanding of premium consumer brands will play a key role in supporting the company's next phase of development.
