Beverage company Coca-Cola (NYSE: KO) will be reporting earnings this Tuesday before market hours. Here’s what investors should know.

Coca-Cola beat analysts’ revenue expectations by 0.5% last quarter, reporting revenues of $12.62 billion, up 2.1% year on year. It was a satisfactory quarter for the company, with an impressive beat of analysts’ EBITDA estimates.

This quarter, analysts are expecting Coca-Cola’s revenue to grow 4.7% year on year to $12.41 billion, improving from its flat revenue in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $0.78 per share.

While some of the consumer staples stocks have shown solid performance in this choppy environment, the group has generally underperformed, with share prices down 2.5% on average over the last month. Coca-Cola is up 3.3% during the same time and is heading into earnings with an average analyst price target of $77.49 (compared to the current share price of $68.42).
