Tickerplace’s stock valuation tool now covers US-listed stocks on the NYSE and Nasdaq in addition to the ASX with two new valuation models added: Dividend Discount and Industry & Sector Average.

MELBOURNE, Australia - August 19, 2026 - Tickerplace, a self-serve stock valuation and analysis platform has expanded its stock valuation tool to cover US-listed stocks on the NYSE and Nasdaq in addition to its existing ASX coverage. The update means investors can now use the intrinsic value framework to assess both US and Australian stocks in one place. Tickerplace now covers more than 7,000 stocks across the two markets. Alongside the market expansion the platform has added two valuation models: a Dividend Discount Model (DDM) and an Industry & Sector Average model to its existing Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), P/E multiple, P/S multiple and EV/EBITDA models.

For investors researching US stocks, the stock valuation tool now runs each company through six or more valuation models and combines the results into a single overvalued, undervalued or fairly valued verdict, along with a confidence score based on how closely the models agree with each other. Previously, that level of analysis was only available for ASX-listed companies.

The two new models provide investors a tool with which to measure whether a stock is priced appropriately. The DDM valuation method takes into account the future dividends the stock will pay, and is therefore appropriate when measuring the price of an income stock with a history of paying dividends, rather than one that does not. The Industry and Sector Average model compares the valuation ratios of a stock against those of the industry's other companies in the industry, thereby allowing investors to determine whether the stock is overvalued or undervalued relative to others in the industry.

Valuation methodologies are often combined in practice by analysts, as analysts do not prefer using one method alone to determine the value of a company's stock. Tickerplace's stock valuation tool is built around that principle: rather than surfacing one number and presenting it as a definitive fair value the platform runs each covered stock through multiple independent models and combines the results into a single verdict.

"No single valuation model tells the story, which is why we built our stock valuation tool around several models instead of one," said Sunny Chaudhary, Founder of Tickerplace. "Extending that tool to US stocks means investors researching companies on the NYSE and Nasdaq now get the depth of analysis that ASX investors have had access to, plus two new models: the Dividend Discount and Industry & Sector Average models that add further independent checks on intrinsic value."

The addition brings Tickerplace's valuation suite to six or more models that run on every covered stock: DCF, P/E multiple, P/S multiple, EV/EBITDA, DDM and Industry & Sector Average. Investors can use the stock valuation tool to see how a company's intrinsic value estimate changes across each model alongside a breakdown of how the individual models compare against one another.

The update is part of Tickerplace's effort to give self-directed retail investors access to valuation tools historically limited to institutional research desks without requiring a paid subscription to get started. The platform's free tier includes access to the stock screener, the stock valuation tool and sector rankings with a Pro plan for investors who want expanded historical data and additional features.
