In this role, Michael will lead all human resources functions and drive talent strategy, organizational development and culture initiatives across the company.

Michael brings more than two decades of progressive human resources leadership experience. He most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at CJ Schwan's Co., where he led several HR initiatives, including key development and implementation of organizational capabilities, executive succession, long-term leadership talent development and changes to enhance team member experience.
Previously, Michael held the position of Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Tyson Foods where he partnered directly with the commercial organization and oversaw all HR shared services. He was also a senior HR leader at Hillshire Brands, Aon and PepsiCo. Throughout his career, Michael has developed expertise in talent strategy, organizational development, culture transformation and building high-performing HR teams across diverse organizations with significant front-line employee populations.

Michael received a bachelor’s degree in business from Northern Illinois University and a law degree from John Marshall Law School. Prior to pursuing a career in HR, he served as a labor attorney.
