What is new or enhanced in Tempe
- Permit Class in Tempe with written exam included. Students can complete classroom instruction at 1920 E Southern Ave and take the included written exam. Many qualify to receive the instructional permit the same day, subject to MVD processing. Classes run on convenient schedules to fit school and work.
- MVD Road Test Waiver with select packages. Several behind-the-wheel options include a waiver that allows eligible students to bypass road testing at the MVD after completing their lessons and meeting program standards.
- 30-Hour Permit Waiver Course. This state-approved path combines 24 hours of online study and a 6-hour in-person session, allowing students to waive the MVD written permit test by testing with Go & Drive.
- Practice Tests and Teen Defensive Driving. Online permit practice materials and TeenSmart defensive driving help students prepare and build safe habits.
