The acquisition brings together two widely respected widow-support organizations, expanding access to educational, emotional, and financial resources for people navigating the loss of a spouse.
Founded in 2018, Widow411 has developed into a widely used resource offering evergreen educational content, guided programs, and an engaged subscriber community. The platform is known for its empathetic, experience-based approach and its focus on supporting widows at every stage of their journey.
The acquisition also marks a meaningful expansion for Wings for Widows, which has historically focused — and continues to focus — on helping widowed individuals navigate the financial and practical matters that follow the loss of a spouse, a transition that affects nearly one million Americans every year. With the addition of Widow411’s assets, Wings for Widows is deepening its commitment to the emotional dimension of loss, from bereavement through renewal and rediscovery. Wings for Widows welcomed nearly 100,000 visitors in 2025, and its free resources and pro bono financial coaching services continue to reach people at their most vulnerable moments.
