Chairman Man-hee Lee gave a lecture on 'Testimony on the fulfillment of Revelation’ on 22nd at Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul on April 22 at 3 pm. Many pastors left impressed with an intention to learn more about the book of Revelation.

Chicago, Illinois Apr 27, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Chairman Man-hee Lee, hereinafter Shincheonji Church of Jesus) held a Great Bible Seminar on the book of Revelation to over 1,000 attendees including approximately 500 church ministers and lay believers who are interested in the Bible, and to ordinary citizens who listened earnestly to the reality of the prophecies of the Book of Revelation being explained

Due to the current atmosphere of the domestic religious community, it is not considered easy to attend a Bible seminar hosted by Shincheonji Church of Jesus, hence it is considered quite unusual for 500 church ministers to have attended.

However, the number of pastors who listened to the Bible seminar through online live streaming remotely, turned out to be much higher. The number of views of the Great Bible seminar, streamed live on YouTube, immediately after the event, was counted at about 50,000 views, according to the Shincheonji Church of Jesus, and in less than a week, has already surpassed a million views on its official YouTube channel.

Church ministers from Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, and Gangwon provinces mainly attended the in-person meeting. According to Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the distribution of denomination of the total ministers was as follows: Presbyterian (69.1%), Methodist (7.4%), Full Gospel (3.6%), and Holiness (2.5%). Other denominations account for 17.5%.

In terms of positions, pastors accounted for the most at 60.9%, followed by elders at 26%. Other participants include evangelists (5.6%), seminarians (4.7%), missionaries (1.8 %), and preachers(1.1%).

Regarding the participation of a considerable number of former and current ministers at the Bible seminar hosted by Shincheonji Church of Jesus, a religious insider pointed out, "This is a phenomenon that the religious world should pay considerable attention to." He speculated, "The Korean church is very passive in interpreting the book of Revelation and providing education about the end time. Since the mention of itself is considered a taboo, not only the church members who are curious but also pastors will search for related words, which will eventually lead them to the in-person Great Bible seminar, going beyond the online."

In this Bible seminar, Chairman Lee gave detailed testimony to the overview of the book of Revelation, order of fulfillment, and key contents, as well as the prophecies and realities of each chapter of Revelation.

"If I ask you whether you have added to or subtracted from the book of Revelation, you might say, 'do you know?'. Yes. I know and I would like to testify" and emphasized that "I am here today not to tell you prophecies, but to tell you the fulfillment."

Chairman Lee testified the entire chapters of Revelation chapters 1 through 22, moving fluidly across chapters, without interruptions for about one and a half hours. The participants attentively focused on the sermon, checking the contents of the Bible and taking notes.

Chairman Lee indicated that "Who should churches wait for? Doesn't it say in Rv 22:8 that it is John who has seen the entire chapters of Revelation and this person who has seen them all is sent to the churches to testify of what he has seen and heard in Rv 22:16?" He urged, "We have to follow these words. Shouldn't we obey Jesus' words? Let us all understand the book of God, the words of eternal life. Let's become God's people together in the kingdom of God, give thanks and glory to God."

Asking for anonymity considering the view of the Protestant field upon Shincheonji Church, Pastor A, a retired pastor of Full Gospel Church, who heard Chairman Lee's sermon, stated, "It was full of grace because he testified to the Bible as it is" adding, "It is very inspiring that he explained the entire Bible in detail without omitting anything." He also added, "Most of the time when I teach the Bible, I only teach the necessary verses as needed, but it was more impressive that [Chairman Lee] testified from beginning to end [of the Bible]."

Another Pastor B, said, "I couldn't help but nod my head the whole time listening. I was very touched today." "I came and listened to the words in person, and realized that there is a lot of misinformation about Shincheonji in the religious field."

Shincheonji Church of Jesus is planning to hold the Great Bible seminar on the 30th in Busan and on May 6th in Daejeon. All events will be streamed live on the official YouTube channel of Shincheonji Church of Jesus.

On the other hand, as of the end of March this year,  Shincheonji Church of Jesus has signed MOUs with a total of  5,300  pastors (230 in Korea) and is engaging in word(doctrine) exchanges. Through such teaching exchanges, there are currently 280 churches in 15 countries that have changed their church signboards to Shincheonji Church of Jesus.
