The Buggyra Academy France team is gearing up for the fourth round of the French Truck Racing Championship, taking place at Magny-Cours on 4-5 July. Téo Calvet, 26, heads into the weekend as leader of the championship standings and among the top favorites.

-- The French driver arrives buoyed by a successful home outing in Nogaro. In front of his home fans, he confirmed his excellent form by securing two wins and two second-place finishes across four races, with particularly impressive recovery drives in the reverse-grid races. Both on Saturday and Sunday, he claimed victory after starting from seventh on the grid.

Magny-Cours is one of France's most famous circuits. It has previously hosted the Formula 1 French Grand Prix and rounds of MotoGP, and remains one of the most demanding tracks on the French Truck Racing Championship calendar.

"I'm looking forward to Magny-Cours. It's a track that suits me well. We've won there twice in a row, so now we'll try to make it three consecutive victories. That would be great," said Téo Calvet.

After three rounds, Calvet leads the championship with 383 points, six ahead of Thomas Robineau in second on 377. Anthony Robineau sits third with 252 points. With the gap at the top so narrow, the title fight is shaping up as a duel between Calvet and Robineau, and every point between now and the summer break could prove decisive.

Weather is again on Téo’s mind heading into the weekend. "It's going to be very hot again, really, really hot. Just like in Nogaro, this will be one of the biggest challenges of the entire weekend, because driving in such conditions is extremely demanding. We're leading the championship, but a six-point lead over Thomas Robineau isn't a huge margin, so we'll do our best to score as many points as possible before the summer break," the 26-year-old Frenchman added.

Nogaro, he says, was a wake-up call the team won't forget. "We had a big scare in the third race, and it could have cost us a lot. Fortunately, the race was restarted, and we finished second. At Magny-Cours, we have to race smart, avoid problems, and score as many points as possible," concluded the Buggyra Academy France driver.
