US$10 Million Global Philanthropic Initiative

Building an Innovative Digital Finance Ecosystem Centered on GxB

GG56 has established GxB, the world's first digital finance venture, and is pioneering an innovative financial ecosystem through the convergence of crypto assets and traditional finance. Through GxB, an integrated digital finance platform that brings fiat currencies and digital assets together within a single financial environment, GG56 plans to accelerate the expansion of the global digital finance industry.

At the same time, GG56 has decided to participate actively in global philanthropic initiatives and to begin supporting related projects, so that the benefits of this innovative financial ecosystem may also make a meaningful contribution to the flourishing and prosperity of human society.

Expanding Global Philanthropy and International Partnerships

In step with the development of this innovative financial ecosystem, GG56 intends to draw primarily on the international network built by its founder, Dr. Han Seung-soo, to create global public value, establish a sustainable framework for support, and begin assisting selected international organizations and institutions. Through these efforts, GG56 seeks to contribute to the meaningful advancement of the international community.

The first prospective partner for cooperation and support is the Council of Presidents of the United Nations General Assembly (UNCPGA), headquartered in New York and composed of former Presidents of the UN General Assembly. The UNCPGA is a distinguished body of international statesmen and diplomats dedicated to promoting world peace, advancing human rights, fostering economic development, and strengthening cooperation among UN Member States.

The Council is currently chaired by Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser of Qatar, President of the 66th Session of the UN General Assembly. GG56 founder Dr. Han Seung-soo, who served as President of the 56th Session, was the Council's immediate past Chairman from 2022 to 2025 and now serves as Honorary Chairman.

The second organization is the Club de Madrid, headquartered in Madrid, Spain, whose membership comprises approximately 120+ former heads of state and government from democratic countries around the world. Throughout the year, the Club convenes a wide range of meetings to deliberate and provide counsel on pressing international challenges, including the advancement of democracy, the promotion of multilateral cooperation and free trade, and the provision of global public goods.

The current President of the Club de Madrid is Laura Chinchilla, former President of Costa Rica. Dr. Han Seung-soo, former Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea and Michelle Bachelet, former President of Chile serve as Vice Presidents.

The third prospective partner is the High-Level Experts and Leaders Panel on Water and Disasters (HELP) headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Building on the work of the UN Secretary-General's Advisory Board on Water and Sanitation (UNSGAB; 2004-2015), HELP was established in 2007. It convenes international meetings at least twice a year and organizes the UN Special Thematic Session on Water and Disasters (UNSTSWD) biennially. Dr. Han Seung-soo has served continuously as Chairman since HELP's establishment in 2007.

The fourth prospective partner is the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, headquartered on the island of Lindau on Lake Constance in Bavaria, Germany.

Founded in 1951, six years after the end of the Second World War, the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings have served as a global forum for the exchange of scientific knowledge and international cooperation. For the past 75 years, Nobel Laureates and young scientists have been invited each year to spend a week together, providing younger scholars with invaluable intellectual inspiration. The Meetings have thus become a precious asset to the world's scientific and intellectual community.

On 10 December 2001, while serving as President of the 56th Session of the UN General Assembly, Dr. Han Seung-soo received the centenary Nobel Peace Prize on behalf of the United Nations in Oslo, Norway.

On 27 June this year, on the eve of the 75th anniversary Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, three Nobel Peace Laureates took part in a panel discussion entitled "Science, Freedom and Responsibility" at the Stadttheater beginning at 4:30 p.m. The participants were Ales Bialiatski of Belarus, a recipient of the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize, Jose Manuel Barroso, former President of the European Commission, who accepted the Nobel Peace Prize on behalf of the European Union in 2012 and Dr. Han Seung-soo.

US$10 Million Contribution to Support the Development of the Global Community

To support the sustainable development of the global community, GG56 plans to contribute a total of US$10 million to the international organizations identified above. The contribution is expected initially to comprise US$5 million in cash and US$5 million worth of digital assets. The amount allocated to each institution, the composition of the tokens, and the timetable for transfer will be determined and implemented in stages, in accordance with each recipient organization's internal procedures and applicable laws and regulations. We hope to expand our cooperation network in due course.

If a digital-asset-based approach is adopted in the future, blockchain technology is expected to enable the donated assets to be transferred with greater transparency and reliability. By integrating digital financial infrastructure with traditional methods of giving, this initiative is expected to provide an important opportunity to establish a new model of international philanthropic engagement.

Expanding Global Digital Finance Business Through GxB

Building on this investment, GG56 plans to strengthen financial connectivity between fiat currencies and digital assets through GxB. On this foundation, it will accelerate the development of a global digital financial ecosystem spanning traditional finance, digital assets, and Web3, while further enhancing its market competitiveness and credibility.

On the strength of this global social-contribution initiative and the investment previously secured, GG56 is moving decisively to expand its global digital finance business through GxB.

GxB is an integrated digital finance platform being developed within the regulatory framework of the Labuan International Business and Financial Centre (Labuan IBFC) in Malaysia. It connects digital asset trading infrastructure and digital banking functions within a single service environment, enabling the seamless conversion and integrated management of fiat currencies and digital assets.

In particular, GxB is designed around an integrated know-your-customer (KYC) framework, together with anti-money laundering (AML) and countering the financing of terrorism (CFT) controls. It therefore seeks to provide a compliance-centered financial environment suited to participation by institutions and businesses. By reducing the limitations created by the separation of digital asset trading from banking services, GxB is expected to establish itself as a new global financial gateway connecting traditional finance with the on-chain ecosystem.
