GAMIVO Game of the Year is an annual award voted for by gamers. In 2025, the competition seems incredibly close, as many exceptional games have come out in the past 12 months. Many esteemed releases get their sequels that turned out to be better than their predecessors, and some brand-new titles entered the gaming world, shaking it to its core.
The list of nominees was created, taking into account the preferences of the incredible community from the GAMIVO Bonus Level and GAMIVO sales numbers.
“It wasn’t an easy task because we had to cross off some great titles. Each of those 12 nominees deserves an award, but only one can be crowned as the GAMIVO Game of the Year. I’m very curious which one will become the best game of 2025, as it will be valuable information about gamers’ preferences,” explained Andrzej Bazylczuk from GAMIVO.
12 video games competing for the GAMIVO GOTY are Blue Prince,Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, Dispatch, Donkey Kong Bananza, Ghost of Yotei, Hades 2, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Megabonk, Silent Hill f, and Split Fiction.
“I believe that the list represents a perfect blend of original games and sequels, AAA titles and independent games, and games representing different genres from action to horror to adventure to RPGs. It also reflects the diversity of games we have been getting all year long,” stated Andrzej Bazylczuk.
Everyone can vote
The competition is organized by GAMIVO, but the participants are not limited to the platform users. Every player can vote and check the current results on the GAMIVO blog.
GAMIVO, a platform known for its high discounts on digital video games, usually celebrates winners with some exceptional promotion. This year won’t be an exception.
“I can’t disclose what it is yet, but I hope it will encourage many more gamers to play the game praised by their peers,” said the GAMIVO representative.
The voting will end on January 7, 2026, and on this day, gamers will find out which game won the title of the GAMIVO Game of the Year 25.
