Hickory, North Carolina – Patrick, Harper & Dixon, LLP, is pleased to announce that associate Vanessa Furches gained admission to the North Carolina State Bar Association on October 3, 2023.

Vanessa Furches’ practice focuses primarily on corporate, commercial real estate, transactional, and general business law. A University of North Carolina at Wilmington alumnus, Ms. Furches earned her JD from Elon University School of Law, where she received the 2022 National Women’s Lawyer’s Association award.

She has a background in criminal law and immigration law and also gained judicial experience through her service as a judicial resident for NC Supreme Court Justice Richard Dietz. Vanessa is dedicated to serving the Hickory community and has done so through a career in the nonprofit sector and years of volunteer service.

As our newest associate, Vanessa is already an integral teammate, lending her knowledge and insights to challenging cases and fulfilling the mission of our founders: to provide our clients and the communities we serve with the highest standards of professional excellence.
